Sustainability

For us, sustainability isn’t just about doing the right thing - it’s about creating positive change for stakeholders all through the beverage supply chain. By collaborating to address the issues of climate change, human rights and empowerment, and supply chain complexity, we can transform challenges into opportunities – and we can improve lives through our work.

Finlays’ corporate sustainability strategy.

Our Sustainable Future 2030 strategy is all about “taking action today for the beverages of tomorrow” through three core areas:

Climate Net Zero

Our ambition is to achieve 50% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2040.

The value of our sustainability certifications.

Our Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program provides a consistent and systematic approach to supplier engagement and management. As a result, we are able to carry certain certifications which provide consumers with reassurance in the sourcing of products through certification seals that they recognize and trust. Across different parts of our global business we offer tea, coffee, and botanical products and solutions with a range of certifications including Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, Organic, Kosher, and Halal.

ISO 14001:2015 certified.

All Finlays Americas manufacturing facilities and distribution centers are ISO 14001:2015 certified. This globally recognized standard defines the criteria for an environmental management system. It validates our dedication to operating in a compliant, environmentally responsible, and conscious manner, not only to our organization, but to the broader industry.

This certification also supports adherence to regulatory standards – meaning our operations will not be disrupted due to non-compliance with legal requirements - ensuring another layer of reliability for our customers.
